The average stock in the S&P 500 is down nearly 3% this year.  The best 10% of stocks in the index are up an average of nearly 50%, though, while the worst 10% of stocks in the index are down nearly 50%.  Looking ahead to 2016, is it best to buy the prior year’s big winners or the prior year’s big losers?  In today’s Chart of the Day we back-test both strategies and present the results.
