In this week’s edition of our ETF Trends report, Solar continues its strong performance among the world of ETFs that we cover, up just over 3% and topping our list of best performers for the second straight day. Silver, Media, and Biotech are also among the notable outperformers. Sweden, Transports, and Industrials are noteworthy underperformers, while the US Dollar makes its 3rd straight appearance on our worst performance list, down just over 1% on a 5 day basis.

Solar continues to outperform among the universe of ETFs we track daily, along with South Africa, Norway, and Silver, which are all up over 4%. Turkey is also among our best performers, continuing the trend of strong performance from European countries. Oil and Energy also saw solid gains. On the losing side, Transports is the only ETF down more than 2%, with Israel and Sweden not far behind. The US Dollar continues its downward spiral, as other notables Banks and Financials fell as well.

Coffee tops our list of best performing ETFs this week, up 7% after appearing on the other side of this chart last week. Solar has been a consistent outperformer as of late, joined by Oil, South Africa, and a host of European countries. Mortgage Real Estate continues its struggles, down almost 2%, while Transports, Banks, and the US Dollar are also notable underperformers.

South Africa tops this week’s list of best performers among the ETFs that we track, up over 7% after seeing almost a 3% decrease last week. Oil made a similar turnaround, up just over 4% this week after topping our list of worst performers last week when it was down 7%. Coffee, Solar, and a handful of European countries are also notable outperformers. Mortgage Real Estate headlines the struggling ETFs, along with the US Dollar and Banks. Home Construction followed up its strong performance last week with a nearly 0.5% setback this week.

Countries continue to outperform in this week’s edition of ETF Trends. Leading the way is South Africa, up over 8%, along with Turkey, Brazil, and Norway. Solar and Oil are also trending upward, seeing gains of 4.6% and about 5%, respectively. On the other hand, Banks and Financials are the notable ETFs trending down. As was the case last week, not all of our worst performers were in the red, as the bottom five worst actually showed improvements.

Six countries lead our list of best performing ETFs in this week’s ETF Trends Report, most notably Brazil, Turkey, and South Africa, who are all up more than 7%. Oil and Steel are other noteworthy outperformers. Banks, Telecoms, and Financials are among the worst performing ETFs this week. Interestingly, only 14 of the ETFs that we track saw decreases.
