Yes, you read that correctly.  Retail sales for the month of January were released earlier this morning and came in higher than expected on the headline reading.  Not only that, but after stripping out autos and gas, January’s readings were also better than expected.  To add icing to the cake, December’s headline and core reading for retail sales were also revised higher.
