Below is a list of the highest yielding S&P 500 companies going ex-dividend through May, sorted by yield. (In the client version of this report, we also include expected dividend growth for each stock.) As shown, AT&T (T) tops the list with a 5.64% yield, and it’s going ex-dividend on Wednesday, April 8th. Remember, to capture a dividend you have to own shares at the close on the trading day before the ex-dividend date.
