This week’s survey of individual investor sentiment from AAII showed that bullish sentiment was practically unchanged in the latest week, rising from 34.1% to 34.77%. This is now the 30th straight week of below average readings in bullish sentiment and the 34th straight week where bullish sentiment was below 40%.
While bullish sentiment was practically unchanged on the week, bearish sentiment saw a moderate decline. From last week’s level of 27.1%, the bearish camp shrunk to 24.02%, which is the lowest reading since 7/16. While investors are becoming increasingly less bearish lately, they aren’t exactly ready to turn bullish. This is evidenced by the fact that neutral sentiment is now back above 41.2%, which is the highest level since late July.
